Free “Integrated Arts for Mental Well-being” sessions.

What is mental well-being?

  • Mental Wellbeing is how we feel (our emotions, our life satisfaction) and how we function (relationship with others, personal control, decision making, purpose in life, independence.)
  • Anyone can have good or poor mental wellbeing. For example a person with a psychosocial disability can have good mental wellbeing while someone without any psychosocial disability can have poor mental wellbeing.

What is Integrated Arts for Mental Wellbeing?

  • Integrated Arts for Mental Wellbeing uses games, voice, rhythm, visual arts, metaphors and more, to improve mental wellbeing.
  • Sessions are tailored to the needs of participants.
  • Participants do not need to know how to draw, play music, or have any other artistic skills.
  • It is all about FUNN! (Functional Understanding Not Necessary).

Who can join?

Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to join.

Date: On Tuesday’s, once every two weeks.

Time: 8 pm to 9 pm, Maldives time (GMT+5)

Location: Location is in Malé and participants will be informed individually.
